MOOYAH 2.0: Check Out Our Fresh New Look!

When you’re already one of the best burger franchises in the country, it’s hard to improve upon perfection, but here at MOOYAH, we’ve managed to pull it off! We’re proud to announce that MOOYAH Burgers, Shakes & Fries is getting an all-new look that’s as fresh as our ingredients. (And that’s saying something!)

Starting in February 2020, we’ll be rolling out our new restaurant design to give our valued Guests an even more incredible MOOYAH experience than the one they already know and love. Each aspect of our new restaurant layout and design is engineered with the comfort and convenience of our Guests and Team Members in mind. We can’t wait to shake up the Fast Casual world with our next-level redesign!

Each of the 14 new MOOYAH burger franchise locations that are slated to open in 2020 will feature our new restaurant design and layout elements. Additionally, MOOYAH will be working with Franchise Owners of 12 existing locations to remodel their spaces by the end of 2020. It’s our goal for all new and existing MOOYAH locations to share the new design by the end of 2024. Our Vice President of Brand Natalie Anderson Liu said, “Converting all locations to our new, modern design and service model is critical to realizing the additional sales and traffic it will bring. Our high-quality, ridiculicious food has always set us apart from the competition, but now in adding this world-class design, our valued Guests will truly be getting the best ‘better burger’ experience anywhere.”

As one of the best burger franchise opportunities in the Fast Casual space, it’s important for our store locations to stand out from the rest of the competition, and we wanted the MOOYAH restaurant dining experience to reflect the premium quality of our fresh, never frozen ingredients. We collaborated with Livit, a renowned design company in Madrid, that has taken guest experience to the next level in dining establishments worldwide. The Livit team immersed itself in all things MOOYAH by dining at several of our restaurant locations, as well as competitors like BurgerFi or Five Guys, to perform brand analysis, concept rebranding and design, and to create the eventual prototype that will be used to construct all future MOOYAH buildouts.

Here’s what will look different in new and remodeled MOOYAH burger franchise locations across the country starting in 2020:

New dining areas and seating arrangement

Here at MOOYAH, we’re all about bringing people in the community together. Our redesigned flexible seating area allows friends and neighbors to move tables around to accommodate larger parties, while our booth seating area provides Guests for maximum comfort if they’re planning to linger over tasty burgers, fries, & shakes for an extended period of time.

To-Go pickup areas

Ever wished you could enjoy a mouthwatering MOOYAH burgers and hand-cut fries without having to put on pants? Thanks to the third-party delivery revolution, now you can! Third-party delivery is becoming a major stream of revenue for MOOYAH Franchise Owners, and because of this, we’ve included a designated area for third party delivery drivers and MOOYAH Guests who have placed an online pickup order, to maximize ease, speed and convenience for Franchise Owners, Team Members and Guests alike! As our President and COO Tony Darden said in a recent interview, “The new MOOYAH provides a high-esteem experience, whether that be through dining in, to-go pick-up or delivery. We are confident this elevated design positions us extremely well to achieve our short- and long-term growth strategies as we partner with existing as well as new Franchise Owners.”

Closed kitchen spaces

MOOYAH has always featured an open kitchen design, but after listening to feedback from Guests, our new layout keeps the kitchen closed off from the dining area, not only maximizing dining space but also reducing noise and improving the overall Guest experience.

Going digital

Our newly redesigned MOOYAH locations will now feature digital menu boards, as well as back-of-house Kitchen Display Systems for enhanced throughput and order accuracy.

Shiny new logo

A serious burger deserves a serious logo. Our sleeker, more streamlined logo will begin rolling out in January. (Don’t worry, though—the FUN isn’t going anywhere!)
