MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes broke new ground this week in Hoover, Alabama, as our burger franchise opened its latest U.S. location! The Hoover location, which is the third MOOYAH in Alabama, also earns the very important distinction of being the FIRST location in the entire world that features our new 2020 restaurant design.
Franchise Owners Denney, Jordan and Carrie Barrow, who also own two Birmingham-area MOOYAH locations, told Yahoo! Finance what made them decide to expand the reach of their business ownership past their hometown. “Opening our MOOYAH restaurant in Hoover is going to be great because so many people from Hoover visit our other locations,” said Jordan about the latest addition to his family’s franchise portfolio. “This will give us an opportunity to service a new part of Birmingham where we live, go to church and are involved in community activities.”
As parents to four children, the Barrows are thrilled to be part of a family-friendly burger franchise and have spent the better part of the past decade focused on providing Birmingham residents with the high quality, outstanding service, and fun environment associated with the MOOYAH brand. “It’s been about eight years since our original location opened,” Jordan explained to Franchising.com. “My father, my wife and myself are the franchisees for the state of Alabama and we’re from the Birmingham area. It’s truly locally-owned and operated. We’re invested in the business, the community and our family’s reputation as excellent business owners.”

The official unveiling of the new MOOYAH prototype in Hoover, which was covered by the foodservice trade publication Fast Casual, lists the updated logo, dining zones and seating arrangements, closed kitchen, digital menu board, and specialized shelving areas for to-go and third-party delivery orders as the top features of our new look. All of these modifications, particularly the redesigned kitchen, are specifically engineered to create an even more satisfying MOOYAH experience for our valued Guests.

The Hoover location is the first of many MOOYAH restaurants that will be featuring our fresh new look- 12 new restaurants are slated to open this year, while 10 existing MOOYAH locations are scheduled to be remodeled in the new design by the end of 2020.
