Last month, we brought you the story of Martin Arguello, the youngest Franchise Owner in MOOYAH history. Martin, who will be bringing the MOOYAH hamburger franchise to the Hill Center Brentwood shopping development in spring 2020, was featured along with MOOYAH President and COO Tony Darden in a Yahoo! Finance article last week. The articles talks about his transition from the corporate world into business ownership, the excitement about bringing the MOOYAH hamburger franchise to the Nashville area and more. Martin’s soon-to-open location in the Nashville suburb of Brentwood is already generating some serious buzz, in addition to his Yahoo! Finance feature, the Hill Center Brentwood location was also mentioned in the local Community Impact online newspaper, as well as in the Nashville Business Journal. It seems as though Music City, U.S.A. just can’t wait for their first “better burger” experience!
“It’s exciting to bring a fun brand to Brentwood, while being serious about the food we serve.”- MOOYAH Franchise Owner Martin Arguello
Martin is currently working toward earning his MBA at Nashville’s Trevecca Nazarene University, graduated from Samford University in Birmingham with a degree in finance. While attending college, Martin had his first “better burger” experience at MOOYAH: something that he would remember when he decided to look into hamburger franchise opportunities. “I discovered MOOYAH as a student in Birmingham because there was one right by my apartment,” Martin told Yahoo! Finance. “I visited quite frequently and it offered great food and an enjoyable atmosphere. Everything I’ve ever had there is delicious and the staff always greeted me with a smile.”
After spending some time in sales, Martin decided that he wanted to be his own boss and began exploring franchise opportunities that would allow him to own a business that made people happy and allowed him to feel good about the quality of the product he was providing. Once he found the MOOYAH franchise opportunity and recalled the great times, excellent customer service and delicious, high-quality food he’d always enjoyed at the Birmingham location, Martin knew he wanted to bring MOOYAH to Nashville.
Martin’s Brentwood location will be the first MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes in Middle Tennessee, and only the second total location in the entire Volunteer State; the first location is in Knoxville. The newness of the MOOYAH brand to the Nashville areas is something that greatly excited Martin about the opportunity, and he looks forward to bringing the best burger franchise in America to his community. “It’s exciting to bring a fun brand to Brentwood, while being serious about the food we serve,” he told Yahoo! Finance. “We are talking about fresh-baked buns, never-frozen beef, hand-cut fries, real ice cream shakes and new Keto, vegetarian and low-calorie burgers.”
MOOYAH COO and President Tony Darden agrees that the Nashville area, and the state of Tennessee in general, is a prime location to expand the hamburger franchise brand, and he thinks Martin is just the Franchise Owner for the job! He told Yahoo! Finance, “Having such great experiences and memories with the brand, we believe that Martin will be laser focused on providing Nashville with a great MOOYAH experience. Once Guests actually taste the difference, it’s easy to see why we have so many loyal fans. We have had many franchisees join our brand after embracing everything we offer to our Guests, and we know that this first location in Nashville will help lay the path for further development.”

In addition to the existing Knoxville location and Martin’s soon-to-open location in Hill Center Brentwood, Tony Darden and the rest of the MOOYAH executive team are looking to award nine additional hamburger franchise opportunities across greater Nashville, including the suburbs of Franklin, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, Clarksville and Belle Meade. We’re also seeking entrepreneurs like Martin Arguello who can bring the MOOYAH “better burger” experience to cities all across the United States, and are awarding franchise opportunities in select territories throughout the country. As MOOYAH continues to expand across America, it is quickly becoming one of the best burger franchise opportunities for entrepreneurs to invest in, especially since other popular “better burger” chains like Five Guys are all out of opportunities in the United States, and are now only awarding international franchises.
We love having people like Martin Arguello introduce us to new cities, and we’re always on the lookout for new Franchise Owners from places all over the country to join the MOOYAH family. If you think your hometown would be a perfect fit for the outstanding customer service, family-friendly atmosphere, and of course, out-of-this-world burgers, fries & shakes that we bring to the table, please visit our franchise website to learn more about us.
